Purpose of role

To help service and maintain the Trusts vehicles, and identify and make minor repairs where necessary. For the mechanically minded, there are also opportunities to help manage some of our other machinery!

Type of tasks you will be involved with

• Following our servicing checklist to make sure our vehicles are in tip-top shape.
• Checking engine oil and fluid levels, inflating tyres and replacing bulbs.
• Spraying vehicles with the pressure washer.
• Helping service our other machinery such as mowers and chainsaws.

Experience and skills required

• Suitable for anyone with a basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• Interest and enthusiasm for nature and wildlife conservation
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Basic use of hand tools

Days/times we would like you to be available

We are looking for volunteers to help once a month on a Friday morning.
