Community action

Bringing about change for nature. Together.

Nature needs more of us than ever before.

Our wildlife is in crisis with one in seven species at risk of extinction in the UK. But if just one in four people took visible action for nature, it would create a tipping point, that magic moment where actions by individual people prompt the majority to do the same.

Imagine just that. If one person in every four people in Worcestershire was taking action. There would be a network of communities, organisations, streets, local groups, education providers and businesses who were all supporting nature in ways that mean something to them, to their community and to the wildlife around us.

More people on nature's side
More space for nature to thrive

Everyone can do something for nature, either individually or as part of a group. If you’re already supporting nature in some way, brilliant! Supporting nature where you live will not only help local wildlife but can improve physical and mental health as well as bring together people in your neighbourhood.

Browse our community action pages to see what we're doing to support people and wildlife across Worcestershire, get some ideas on how to take action in your community or with your local group and look through our resources library to help with your next steps in taking action for wildlife.
