Purpose of the role

To provide a warm welcome to any visitors and a friendly voice on the end of the phone, you will direct enquiries to the right department and help with other light admin duties. You will be the first point of contact for many people and an ambassador for the work we do.

Type of tasks

• Answering and redirecting incoming phone calls
• Welcoming visitors
• Dealing with incoming and out-going post
• Light admin duties such as laminating, shredding and envelope stuffing

Experience and skills required

• A friendly telephone manner and face-to-face communication skills
• Interest and enthusiasm for nature and wildlife conservation
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to be involved in a number of tasks as directed

Time commitment

Four hours per week, covering reception from 9.00am – 1.00pm each Thursday (alternative shift times will be considered e.g 10.00am – 2.00pm)
