Corporate volunteering

Increasing numbers of workplaces are supporting their employees to give something back to their local communities.  Our Corporate Volunteering offer is flexible and can be tailored to suit your group – so whether you’re looking for a one-off wild team building session or you’re a small team wanting to donate a day or two to help protect wildlife across Worcestershire, we have a range of options that we may be able to offer you.

Take a look at the options below, then contact our team to get the ball rolling

Wild Work Days

Bringing a group of employees out together is a great way to promote team work, boost morale and make a positive contribution to the environment.

Our Practical Conservation sessions are delivered outside on one of our nature reserves.  Your team will be guided through a practical management task that will benefit wildlife, visitors and your team members.  No previous experience necessary - we provide all the equipment and training.

We have limited availability for all our task days so please contact us to discuss the options and confirm your places:

A bespoke session just for your group

If you are looking for a bespoke package - specific days, sites or jobs - or you would like us to provide a member of staff specifically to lead your group we may need to ask for a contribution to cover our staff time. This ranges from £25-£50 per head depending on the needs of the group (timings, number of people, flexibility around dates etc.).

We will be happy to give you more information and discuss some options if this sounds like what your company is looking for.

Join our Roving Volunteers Group on one of our reserves (Tues/Thurs only)

For smaller groups it may be possible to join our mid-week Roving Volunteers Group who work on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the year across a large proportion of our reserves with specific support from our reserves team.

Details of the nature reserves the Roving Group will be visiting and an idea of their tasks can be seen on our Practical Conservation Calendar.  Some sites and sessions will be more suitable than others, so please contact us to discuss the options.

Your group would need to meet us at the reserve or travel in convoy with us from Lower Smite Farm.

Join a bigger group working on a practical task that requires many-hands (seasonal)

There are certain nature reserves and physical tasks occurring throughout the year that benefit from a big group effort with lots of hands, such as scrub-bashing at The Devil’s Spittleful or the annual hay cut at Lower Smite Farm

If you would like to join in with one of these days, your staff would be part of a wider group – a real joint effort!  This does require flexibility in terms of the date as many of these tasks are seasonal.
