A chance to miss the December rush for Christmas presents is taking place between Droitwich and Worcester on Saturday 21st November.

Necklace by Mini Minx and MamaConservation charity Worcestershire Wildlife Trust is hosting a craft fair at their headquarters, Lower Smite Farm, between 10am and 4pm. The event will showcase a range of local craftworkers just in time for the Christmas shopping period.

Hannah Thomas, organiser of the craft fair for the Trust, explained “This is a great opportunity to buy a range of hand-crafted presents for loved ones – and get ahead with your Christmas shopping.

“We’ve got a wide range of craftworkers from Worcestershire and beyond that will be selling their handmade products – from blacksmiths and candles to artists and woodworkers and much more.”

As well as retail therapy, visitors to the craft fair can also take the opportunity to don their walking boots and head out for a walk around the Trust’s nature trail – a mile and a half walk taking in many of the farm’s habitats.

Hannah added “We’ll also be running a lucky dip for children throughout the day and will have activities to keep the little ones occupied while parents and grandparents are relaxing with a cup of tea.

“We’ll also have our own range of Christmas cards and our ever popular calendar featuring winners of our annual photography competition.”
