What we do

Working with schools

We have been running outdoor school trips for over 30 years. Our specialist teaching staff lead a wide variety of interactive programmes for students from nursery to 'A' Level. All staff hold DBS and first aid certificates and we can provide comprehensive risk assessments for activities and the centre.

Lower Smite Farm and Wildlife Education Centre is located on a 150 acre farm whose primary aim is to create and maintain diverse habitats for wildlife. We don’t have farm animals and we don’t grow crops, but we do have lots of incredible wildlife. Lower Smite has dedicated facilities to host up to 60 students (two classes) a day, which includes lunch space and a courtyard for play. If your cohort is between 60 - 80 students, do contact us to discuss, as we may be able to accommodate you all on the same day.

The farm is only five minutes drive from J6 of the M5 (Worcester/Droitwich).

Costs for a full day visit (10am - 2.30pm approx.) are:

EYS -KS2 £6.50 per pupil (£4.50 half day)
KS3 - £8 per pupil (£6 half day)
Minimum charge £120 for groups under 19 pupils.
