Volunteer Opportunities

Like the idea of helping the Trust to save wildlife?  How about lending us some of your time!  We've got lots of opportunities below and we'd love to hear from you. 

If you've got special skills that you think may be of value to us, please get in touch with Helen  (01905 754919) - we're always on the look out for specialist help.

  • Location: Schools in a 5 mile radius from your local area or further if you would like to. We are particularly looking for volunteers in Worcester, Malvern, Pershore and Evesham.

    Our school team is looking for more volunteers to join us and help deliver fun and engaging wildlife assemblies for primary schools. We are looking for volunteers to join our existing team to cover Worcester, Malvern and Evesham/Pershore. Last year our team delivered over 50 assemblies and we are now looking to expand our offer and reach more schools.

  • Location: Grafton Wood & Blackhouse Wood

    We are looking for volunteers to help check the bat boxes at Grafton Wood and Blackhouse Wood. These surveys are led by licensed bat handlers so you’ll be helping with initial checks and may have the opportunity to see bats at close quarters whilst they’re being handled.

  • Our volunteer nature reserve wardens act as our eyes on the ground. They walk one of our chosen nature reserves regularly to help us foresee and locate problems. How involved you get is up to you – some people simply walk and report back to us, others carry out light maintenance and surveying too.
