Natural Networks funding increased to encourage more wildlife-rich habitats
Natural Networks grants, available for projects which aim to create or restore wildlife-rich habitats, have been increased to cover 70% of the total project cost.
Love Your River Bromsgrove
Defra's Love Your River campaign sought to raise public awareness about the health of our rivers and the water we use. We worked closely with Partners in Bromsgrove to deliver wetland improvements and raise awareness about the town's watery habitats
River lamprey
The river lamprey is a primitive, jawless fish, with a round, sucker-mouth which it uses to attach to other fish to feed from them. Adults live in the sea and return to freshwater to spawn.
