Help us track wildlife with WildWalks, a new online wildlife recording system developed by The Wildlife Trusts and the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO).

We'd like you to tell us about the wildlife you see as you walk around our reserves and the county's fantastic wildlife-rich Living Landscape Areas, including Malvern Chase and the ancient Forest of Feckenham.

Using a simple online mapping tool, WildWalks enables people to create walks across local Living Landscape projects and Trust reserves - these are the Trust's key areas for nature conservation - and record sightings of plants and animals along the way. By repeating WildWalks over time you can help tell us how our work is helping to restore nature.

WildWalks has been developed so that the public, whether expert recorders or those with less expertise, can get involved and help us with our work as well as enjoying spending time in nature.

Getting started with WildWalks

If you are interested in undertaking a WildWalk you can register at www.livingmap.org.uk

Once you’ve registered, head straight for one of our pre-set walks on our nature reserves or set up your own walk within a Living Landscape area.

To help you get a feel for the system we’ve produced these simple video guides and given answers to some simple FAQs.
