Our Resources Team is headed by Mike Perry and includes all the staff involved in Trust finance and administration, fundraising, membership, communications and education.

Membership and Fundraising

Julie Allen

Membership Officer

Key Responsibilities: Promotes and encourages Trust membership and carries out all membership services.

Anne Williams

Membership Development Officer

Key Responsibilities:Promotes and encourages Trust membership, working with staff and volunteers across the Trust as well as partners and supporters in the wider community.

Sian Bakewell

Grants Officer (part-time)

Key Responsibilities: Generates income for the Trust’s work through grant applications and bids to other funding sources.

Rebecca Bradshaw-King

Funding Development Officer (p/t)

Key Responsibilities: Generates income for the Trust’s work through grant applications and by delivering a range of fundraising activities, schemes and initiatives.

Communications

Wendy Carter

Communications Lead

Key Responsibilities: Leads the Trust’s communications work. This includes press and media liaison, publications, website, social media and interpretation.

Engagement

Rae Howard-Louvaine

Senior Engagement Officer

Key Responsibilities: Oversees our engagement work.  This includes our work with schools and young people and our campaigns and events. Rae also oversees engagement projects ranging from oral history to community engagement in specific areas of Worcestershire.

Marissa Ryland

Engagement Officer - Education

Key responsibilities: Main responsibility is developing and delivering our work with schools at Lower Smite Farm, on nature reserves and in scholls working alongside our sessional tutors and volunteers. Marissa manages the wildlife garden at Lower Smite farm and helps deliver a wide range of engagement work.

Sadie Carr Simons

Engagement Officer – Campaigns and Events (part-time)

Main responsibility is the design and delivery of a range of public campaigns and events. These aim to raise awareness and inspire people to act to support wildlife and nature conservation across Worcestershire. Sadie also supports wider engagement activities for the Trust.

Ben Rees

Engagement Officer – Youth (part-time)

Main responsibility is working with young people, typically between the ages of 11 and 18. Ben works to raise awareness and inspire this age range helping to insill a genuine appreciation of wildlife and nature conservation. Ben is working with schools, other groups and individuals in this age range. Ben also supports wider engagement activities within the Trust.

Mandy Butterworth

Project Officer – Hardwick Green Meadows (part-time)

Main responsibility is the delivery of the Trusts community engagement project in and around our Hardwick Green Meadows Reserve, in Eldersfield Marsh in the southwest corner of the county. This project works with local schools and the community more widely. Mandy helps to facilitate an understanding of the importance of these historic floodplain hay meadows and traditional hay meadows.

Finance and Administration

Finance and Administration Manager

Key Responsibilities: Oversees a wide range of financial and support duties including maintenance issues, recycling, health & safety and first aid.

Pauline Gardener

Administration Assistant

Key Responsibilities: Carries out a wide range of clerical and support duties at the Trust.

Moira Conn

Finance and Administration Assistant

Key Responsibilities: Carries out a wide range of clerical and support duties in her role as Finance and Administration Assistant. Moira also manages all enquiries for our meetings and conference rooms, and supports meetings and events on the day.

Volunteer Development

Emma Wurmli

Volunteer Development Officer (part-time)

Key responsibilities: Improving communication with volunteers and helping to recruit new volunteers for a wide range of opportunities at the Trust.

Membership Recruitment

You will see our team of membership recruiters at events, shops and high streets across Worcestershire. They talk to members of the public about our work to encourage more people to join us as members to support us. This team are employed by South West Wildlife Fundraising Limited, a company jointly owned by Worcestershire Wildlife Trust and seven other Wildlife Trusts in the South West of England.
