The Malvern Hills
Welcome! We’re a lively and active group discovering and enjoying wildlife around the beautiful Malvern Hills.
Our area covers Malvern, Upton upon Severn and surrounding villages. All our meetings and activities are open to non-members. More details of these as well as news and other information are on our own website.
We really look forward to meeting you – you’ll find us to be a warm and friendly group who are very enthusiastic about wildlife conservation in our area.

Get involved
Fundraising and publicising the Trust’s work are two important roles for us; we have stalls at local events and collection days at supermarkets.
We’re always delighted to hear from anyone willing to help. Perhaps you could take photos for our displays, rattle a tin, make a cake, hold a coffee morning, provide a raffle prize or help in some other way? We’re always keen to hear new ideas.
Your local nature reserve
The Knapp and Papermill nature reserve at Alfrick Pound is perhaps the most special of the many reserves in our area. Open nearly all year, it has a diverse range of habitats along the picturesque Leigh Brook, including bluebell woods, wildflower-rich grassland, a traditional orchard and ponds, all in a beautiful setting.
The annual open day in April offers guided walks, children’s nature trails, pond dipping, stalls and displays, live music and delicious refreshments. A great day out for all the family!
For those keen on more active volunteering, Sunday and weekday working parties are held on the Reserve through the winter months. No practical experience is required as guidance is given. New volunteers are always made very welcome.
For information about times and who to contact, visit our volunteering page or the Trust's volunteering opportunities pages.
