Making a difference

There are lots of things you can do in your local community to make a difference for wildlife.

If you only have...

5 minutes Join our Facebook page or visit our Flickr group with hundreds of images taken on our reserves
Half a day a week Make your garden wildlife-friendly
1 day a week Join our roving volunteers who work on nature reserves across the county
2 days a month Get involved in your Local Group committee
1 day a month Watch and record wildlife in your garden or local area & send your records to the Worcestershire Biological Records Centre
1 evening a month Attend a Local Group talk or other wildlife event
1 day a year Attend one of our wildlife courses and learn about your local wildlife

Join in with a local group near you

Our 9 volunteer-run Local Groups each organise a programme of indoor talks and outdoor events, helping to promote the Wildlife Trust and raising vital funds for us.

Events are listed on this website and open to all (non members welcome).

Other ways to get involved and make a difference

You can use our downloadable spotting sheets and resources for your own use.  Why not print some off and take your children, club or friends to your local greenspace and try them out?
