Wildwatchers - Teepees & Totems
We run a programme of activities for children during school holidays throughout the year.
All our holiday activities are based on an environmental theme and led by qualified leaders. We've got a mix of open days, drop in sessions and bookable activities - we're hoping to see you lots!
Sunday 1st April - Spring at Smite, 1pm-4pm
The annual spring open day on our farm - try pond dipping, discover what wildlife is doing now spring is here, join in craft activities and meet the lambs. Fun for all the family. £3 adults, £1.50 children.
Wednesday 4th April - Springy Things, Lower Smite Farm*
Make a natural Easter bonnet & basket, follow the egg trail to discover how life begins for much of our wildlife at this time of year.
Wednesday 11th April - River Revelations, The Knapp & Papermill*
Journey along the Leigh Brook and discover the importance, power, wildlife and problems of rivers. Collect materials for a boat building challenge.
Thursday 7th June - Wildwatchers 100, Abbey Park, Evesham, 10am-3pm
Come along and take our Wildwatchers 100 Challenge, take part in our tree trail, become a bird spotter and discover more about mini-beasts. Free activities but donations welcomed.
Tuesday 24th July - The Gruffalo's Garden, Lower Smite Farm*
When the Gruffalo comes into the garden looking for his food, where does it all hide? Find out how to make your garden full of wildlife hiding places.
Thursday 26th July - Wings & Waders, Upton Warren*
Play bird bingo, use binoculars, visit a hide and have a go at making the best nest at this fabulous wetland nature reserve.
Sunday 29th July - Farm Fayre, Lower Smite Farm, 11am-4pm
Join us for guided walks, family activities, pond dipping, local produce, craft stalls and animals. £5 per car.
Tuesday 31st July - Mi-Newt Monsters, Lower Smite Farm*
Dip the pond and find an eft, discover amphibian facts and uncover their lifecycles.
Thursday 2nd August - Early Birds, Feckenham Wylde Moor, 7.30am-9.30am*
Follow a trail around this fantastic nature reserve, listen to the birds and discover just why the early bird catches the worm.
Tuesday 7th August - Minibeast Olympics, Lower Smite Farm*
Who's the highest jumper? Who's faster - a slug or a snail? Discover amazing mini-beast facts and be ready for some tough competition.
Thursday 9th August - Warden Academy, Ipsley Alders Marsh*
Become a reserve warden for the day, discover what's involved in looking after this amazing reserve and be part of helping make it even better for everyone. Over 8s only.

Wednesday 31st October - Witches Brew, Piper's Hill & Dodderhill Common*
Join us in this brilliant woodland, fill a cauldron with the ancient power of plant potions.
