South East Worcestershire local group organises a range of wildlife-related events for the Pershore, Evesham and Broadway areas.

The group also leads conservation work parties and runs an annual open day at Tiddesley Wood nature reserve.

We welcome everyone to our talks, walks and reserve visits. There are many ways you can get involved – from enjoying an event to volunteering with one of our work parties.

Volunteering at Tiddesley Wood

New volunteers are welcome to join our work parties that usually take place on the last Sunday of each month.
We undertake a variety of work in the field, orchard and wood itself. Work can include woodland management, maintaining the Millennium Trees, fencing and scrub clearance.

Bring your own refreshments and wear suitable clothing and stout footwear. No previous experience is necessary – we provide the tools and guidance.

Volunteers also help out with Tiddesley Wood Open Day and winter log sales.

To confirm dates of work parties call Harry Green on 01386 710377 or Bob Gillmor on 01386 556685.

Tiddesley Wood Open Day

Our annual event takes place each May and we’re looking for new volunteers to help us make it a success. We need help with car parking, setting up stalls, clearing up after the event, organising ...the list goes on!
Attractions on the day include craft stalls, traditional woodcraft demonstrations, bug hunts, guided walks, nature trails, live music, refreshments, jewellery sales, plant sales, wildlife artists and photographers, environmental charities and much much more.
To find out more contact Bob Gillmor on 01386 556685.
