Bug hunting, craft activities and guided walks will help to make Vale of Evesham residents go wild this July.

Common frog (c) Emily BrazierStaff and volunteers from Worcestershire Wildlife Trust are running a series of events from Monday 24th to Friday 28th July. The activities are intended to help local people celebrate the wildlife they can find in and around their town.

Hannah Thomas, engagement officer for the Trust who is co-ordinating the activities, explained “We’ve got some fantastic wildlife and wild places in and around Evesham as well as throughout Worcestershire.

“We’d love to inspire both residents and visitors to Evesham about some of this wildlife – from minibeasts in the grounds of Abbey Park to wildflowers on our Windmill Hill nature reserve.

“We’re delighted that both The Almonry Museum and The Churches Conservation Trust are joining in the wild fun too.”
