Engagement Officer - Youth

Salary: £22,000 per annum FTE 21 hours per week. 2 year fixed term contract

Using a range of techniques, can you engage with young people across the county concerning the importance of wildlife, conservation, the natural environment and the work of the Trust? If so, this role may be for you.

We are looking for an inspiring person to deliver Worcestershire Wildlife Trust’s engagement activities to young people, predominantly aged 11-18, in a variety of different settings, both rural and urban.

The purpose of this work is to provide young people with meaningful opportunities to get involved with the natural world and to form lasting memories that will influence them throughout their lives.

You will be responsible for devising and delivering projects, in line with the engagement strategy, in both formal and informal educational settings. You will need experience of planning programmes and sessions focused on environmental or natural-history-related themes.

Regular evening and weekend working will be required and a full clean driving license is essential. This is a part-time (21hrs/week) position, on a 2-year fixed-term contract.
