Clydesdale Bank Help Wildlife

Worcester Financial Solutions Centre of the Clydesdale Bank is helping to raise funds for Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.
The Bank is holding its first business networking lunch for 2010, inviting local professionals and businesses to the Trust’s headquarters at Lower Smite Farm on Tuesday 23rd February. More than 40 of the Bank’s business members and contacts are expected to attend.
Participants will receive a tour of the farm, currently undergoing conversion to an eco-farm, as well as have talks from Trust staff. This will be followed by lunch and an opportunity for networking.
Sharon Chance, Associate - Business Banking with Clydesdale Bank, explained “As a local bank we like to engage with the local community and provide opportunities for our business contacts and members to find out more about the local charities with which we have formed an ongoing working relationship. Furthermore to help raise vital funds to support the continuing good work carried out by those working for them.”
Christine Finlay, Business Co-ordinator for Worcestershire Wildlife Trust, added “We’re really pleased to be hosting this event. Our conference and meeting room facilities are regularly used by local businesses but we’re incredibly grateful that Clydesdale Bank are not only using our facilities but will also be using the event to help raise much needed funds for us too.
“All funds raised for the Trust go towards our 70 nature reserves throughout the county that we manage for the benefit of wildlife and people.”
