Schoolchildren examining minibeastsSchoolchildren examining minibeasts

We have been running outdoor school trips for 30 years. Our specialist teaching staff lead a wide variety of interactive programmes for students from nursery to 'A' Level. All staff hold DBS and first aid certificates and we can provide comprehensive risk assessments for activities and the centre.

Another great visit! All the children thoroughly enjoyed the learning. Staff were brilliant and informative.

Lower Smite Farming and Wildlife Education Centre is located on a 150 acre working arable farm. It has dedicated facilities to host up to 90 students         (3 classes) a day. This includes lunch space and a courtyard for play.

The farm is only 5 minutes drive from J6 of the M5 (Worcester/Droitwich).

We also run visits to the Knapp and Papermill, near Bransford, which is a SSSI designated nature reserve and where we have a small classroom with toilet facilities. We can only host 80 pupils per week at this reserve to limit disturbance to the wildlife.

Costs for a full day visit (10am - 2.30pm approx.) are -

EYS - KS2 - £5 per pupil

KS3 - £7 per pupil

KS4 - £9 per pupil

KS5 - £15 per pupil

Visit the relevant key stage pages (see menu on the left hand side) to find out more about the programmes we run.
