WIldlife Watch badgerWho are we?

We’re your biggest local charity looking after the wildlife around you.

So that we can do our work, we need to raise lots of money through people making donations or becoming a member. We’re making Worcestershire a better place for wildlife and for you too!

We own and look after more than 70 pieces of land in the county that we call nature reserves. We protect these places from damage or development (people wanting to build on them). We also repair and restore the reserves by doing conservation - this might be clearing away rubbish, cutting down some trees to let the sunshine in, planting new trees and hedgerows or clearing paths so people can enjoy the reserves too.

Wildlife Watch shieldbugAll this work means that we have some pretty special wildlife in Worcestershire - from badgers and otters to noble chafer beetles and brown hairstreak butterflies.

If you’re interested in wildlife or visiting Lower Smite Farm, or other nature reserves, we’ve got lots of ways for you to get involved! You could come along to our Wildwatcher holiday activities, become a member of Wildlife Watch or visit with your school.Wildlife Watch blue tit
